The Passengers is the new project and band featuring Jackie Strano and Debbie Torrey from Hail Marys fame, and Kevin and Kerry Stamps, formerly of Mobius Donut. Together they have combined forces and energy to create a new SF Bay Area band to be reckoned with.

Oakland-based and founded at the illustrious and infamous Soundwave Studios on West Grand Ave.…years of touring, playing, writing, and recording respectively are infused and breathing life into this project that is song-based and full of creative edge. After a year and a half of writing and pre-production, The Passengers are ready to gig and tour at a venue near you and will begin recording August 2009.

Jeff Buckley meets Black Sabbath, searing and soaring melodies mixed with the throbbing and multi layered, tasteful Stamps rhythm machine…this band’s focus is on emotional songwriting with full throttle unabashed musicianship.
